Belgian makes the move from Moto3 to World Supersport

After three seasons in the Moto3 category of the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship, Loris Cresson is set to make the jump to WorldSSP with MTM Racing.

The young Belgian is set to join MTM Racing aboard a Kawasaki ZX-6R and will participate in the new European category of the Championship. “After good results in the Moto3 Junior World Championship and having taken part in the Grand Prix of Qatar in 2015, I´m very happy to announce that I will be riding for Belgian team MTM Racing in World Supersport,” the 17-year-old Belgian explained. “I will be one of the youngest riders on the grid in this new adventure and I can´t wait to get to know this category and Championship.  I don’t have a particular objective in mind for the season, I just want to get the most experience possible and get to know all the new tracks.”

Cresson will debut in the new European class of WorldSSP at MotorLand Aragón at the beginning of April.
